SharePoint Column/View Permission

As we all aware that there is no out of box way in sharepoint by which we can achieve column level permissions. but would like to highlight one third party utility which will be very effective and fullfill all the requirements.

You can get this utility here : SharePointBoost

What are the benefits:
----------------------------
1. SharePoint administrators can now assign to Users and User Groups all relative permissions at Columns-and Views-level.
2. Permissions can even be defined using conditions, so that the values of certain fields determine permissions dynamically.
3. Permissions settings can be imported or exported as XML file for easy management and batch permissions assignment.

SharePoint Column/View Permission provides further protection on list columns and views than the SharePoint permission system does. Using it, you can safeguard the confidential column contents from access and edition by unauthorized users.

Main highlights:
-------------------
1. Hide or read-only columns in a list
2. Hide or read-only views in a list
3. Set Permissions According to Conditions
4. Hide columns in Alert Me email
5. Add Extral Protection against Access from Web Services

I hope the above mentioned information is pretty much clear regarding the SharePoint column permisisons utility.http://www.sharepointboost.com/columnpermission.html
